About the role:

As a Cybersecurity Architect in Microsoft Cloud at Sopra Steria, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and developing secure cloud architectures within Microsoft's ecosystem. With in-depth expertise in security solutions for Azure and Microsoft 365, you will work proactively and consultatively with our customers to build future-proof solutions that protect their data, applications, and users.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Development and implementation of security strategies and architectures based on Microsoft's frameworks
• Conducting security assessments and risk analyses to identify and address potential security threats
• Incident management and analysis of security data using tools such as Microsoft Sentinel and Defender XDR
• Design and implementation of Zero Trust models and configuration of secure cloud infrastructure, clients, and identities
• Advising and training to enhance customers' security awareness and compliance with standards

Who are you?

We are looking for a senior technical expert with a proven ability to build trust with customers and who is driven to create value through cloud security. You are an analytical and strategically minded person who can identify risks and translate complex challenges into concrete solutions.

Qualifications:

• At least 5–8 years of experience in IT security, cloud architecture, and Microsoft's ecosystem.
• Documented experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and the Defender suite.
• Solid knowledge of SIEM tools such as Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust architectures.
• Skills in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, KQL, Bicep, Terraform).
• Certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate and Cybersecurity Architect Expert, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Personal qualities:

• Structured and methodical with a clear focus on security.
• Independent and proactive with a problem-solving attitude.
• Communicative and pedagogical – you have the ability to explain security solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
